86 - Tarık [ The Night-Comer ]

1.	Göğe ve târık'a andolsun.
	By the heaven and the Morning Starr
2.	Târık'ın ne olduğunu sen nereden bileceksin?
	Ah, what will tell thee what the Morning Star is!
3.	Parlayan yıldızdır.
	The piercing Star!
4.	Hiçbir can yoktur ki başında bir koruyucu (bekçi) olmasın.
	No human soul but hath a guardian over it.
5.	İnsan neden yaratıldığına bir baksın:
	So let man consider from what he is created.
6.	Atılan bir sudan yaratıldı.
	He is created from a gushing fluidd
7.	Bel ile kaburga kemikleri arasından çıkan (bir sudan).
	That issued from between the loins and ribs.
8.	O (Allâh), onu tekrar döndür(üp yarat)mağa kâdirdir.
	Lo! He verily is Able to return him (unto life)
9.	Gizlilerin (ortaya dökülüp) yoklanacağı gün,
	On the day when hidden thoughts shall be searched out.
10.	İnsanın ne bir gücü, ne de bir yardımcısı vardır.
	Then will he have no might nor any helper.
11.	Dönüşlü göğe andolsun,
	By the heaven which giveth the returning rain,
12.	(Bitkilerin çıkması için) Çatlayan yere andolsun ki,
	And the earth which splitteth (with the growth of and plants)
13.	O (Kur'ân), elbette (hak ile bâtılı) ayırdedici bir sözdür.
	Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word,
14.	O, şaka değildir.
	It is no pleasantry.
15.	Onlar (onu iptal etmek için) bir tuzak kuruyorlar.
	Lo! they plot a plot (against thee, O Muhammad)
16.	Ben de (onları yakalamak için) bir tuzak kuruyorum.
	And I plot a plot (against them).
17.	Hele sen o kâfirlere mühlet ver, biraz bırak onları (bildiklerine gitsinler).
	So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal thou gently with them for a while.
