70 - Mearic [ The Ways Of Ascent ]

1.	Bir soran, inecek azâbı sordu:
	A questioner questioned concerning the doom about to falll
2.	Kâfirler için, ki onu savacak yoktur,
	Upon the disbelievers, which none can repel,
3.	Yükselme derecelerinin sâhibi Allah'tan.
	From Allah, Lord of the Ascending Stairwayss
4.	Melekler ve Rûh, miktarı elli bin yıl süren bir gün içinde O'na çıkar.
	(Whereby) the angels and the Spirit ascend unto Him in a Day whereof the span is fifty thousand years.
5.	Şimdi sen güzelce sabret.
	But be patient (O Muhammad) with a patience fair to see.
6.	Onlar onu uzak görüyor(lar).
	Lo! they behold it afar offf
7.	Biz ise onu yakın görüyoruz.
	While We behold it nigh:
8.	O gün gök, erimiş maden gibi olur.
	The day when the sky will become as molten copper,
9.	Dağlar, renkli yün gibi olur.
	And the hills become as flakes of wool,
10.	Dost dostun halini sormaz.
	And no familiar friend will ask a question of his friendd
11.	Birbirlerine gösterilirler (fakat herkes kendi derdine düştüğünden, başkasıyle ilgilenemez). Suçlu ister ki o günün azâbından (kurtulmak için) fidye versin: Oğullarını,
	Though they will be given sight of them. The guilty man will long [to] be able to ransom himself from the punishment of that day at the price of his childrenn
12.	Eşini ve kardeşini,
	And his spouse and his brotherr
13.	Kendisini barındıran, içinde yetiştiği tüm âilesini,
	And his kin that harboured himm
14.	Ve yeryüzünde bulunanların hepsini (versin) de tek kendisini kurtarsın.
	And all that are in the earth, if then it might deliver him.
15.	Hayır! O (ateş), alevlenen bir ateştir.
	But nay! for lo! it is the fire of helll
16.	Derileri kavurur, soyar.
	Eager to roast;
17.	(Kendine) Çağırır; sırtını dönüp gideni,
	It calleth him who turned and fled (from truth),
18.	(Mal) Toplayıp kasada yığanı!
	And hoarded (wealth) and withheld it.
19.	Doğrusu insan hırslı (ve huysuz) yaratılmıştır.
	Lo! man was created anxious,
20.	Kendisine kötülük dokundu mu sızlanır,
	Fretful when evil befalleth himm
21.	Kendisine hayır dokundu mu yardım etmez (sıkı sıkı tutar).
	And, when good befalleth him, grudging;
22.	Ancak namaz kılanlar bunun dışındadır.
	Save worshipperss
23.	Onlar ki: Namazlarını sürekli kılarlar (aksatmazlar).
	Who are constant at their worshipp
24.	Onların mallarında belli bir hisse vardır:
	And in whose wealth there is a right acknowledgedd
25.	Sâile ve mahruma (isteyene ve utancından dolayı istemeyip mahrum kalana).
	For the beggar and the destitute;
26.	Cezâ gününü tasdik ederler,
	And those who believe in the Day of Judgement,
27.	Rablerinin azâbından korkarlar.
	And those who are fearful of their Lord's doomm
28.	Çünkü Rablerinin azâbına güven olmaz.
	Lo! the doom of their Lord is that before which none can feel securee
29.	Irzlarını korurlar.
	And those who preserve their chastityy
30.	Yalnız eşlerine, ya da ellerinin altında bulunan(câriyelerin)e karşı (korumazlar. Bundan ötürü de) onlar kınanmazlar.
	Save with their wives and those whom their right hands possess, for thus they are not blameworthy;
31.	Ama kim bundan ötesini ararsa, onlar (sınırı) aşanlardır.
	But whoso seeketh more than that, those are they who are transgressors;
32.	Emânetlerini ve ahidlerini gözetirler.
	And those who keep their pledges and their covenant.
33.	Şâhidliklerini yaparlar.
	And those who stand by their testimonyy
34.	Namazlarını korurlar.
	And those who are attentive at their worship,
35.	İşte onlar cennetlerde ağırlanırlar.
	These will dwell in Gardens, honoured.
36.	Nânkörlere ne oluyur ki sana doğru koşuyorlar?
	What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open eyed,
37.	Sağdan, soldan, ayrı ayrı gruplar halinde (gelip etrafını sarıyorlar)?
	On the right and on the left, in groups?
38.	Onlardan her biri, ni'met cennetine sokulacağını mı umuyor?
	Doth every man among them hope to enter the Garden of Delight?
39.	Hayır! Öyle şey yok! Biz onları bildikleri şeyden yarattık.
	Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know.
40.	Yoo, doğuların ve bâtıların Rabbine yemin ederim ki bizim gücümüz yeter:
	But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We are Ablee
41.	Onları, kendilerinden daha hayırlı olanlarla değiştirmeğe. Bizim önümüze geçilmez (bize engel olunamaz).
	To replace them by (others) better than them. And We are not to be outrun.
42.	Bırak onları kendilerine va'dedilen günlerine kavuşuncaya kadar dalsın, oynasınlar.
	So let them chat and play until they meet their Day which they are promised,
43.	O gün kabirlerden hızlı hızlı çıkarlar. Onlar dikilen(putlara yahut hedef)lere doğru koşar gibi (koşarlar).
	The Day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal,
44.	Gözleri düşük, yüzlerini alçaklık bürümüş bir durumda. İşte onlara va'dedilen gün, bugündür.
	With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised.
